Stock phone app misbehaving

Hi guys,

A bit of help please if possible my Sony Z3 compact phone app (stock) keeps messing about

on making a call i hear no dial tone or wringing then the call connects still nothing

dialing a number and the phone does not auto fill or match a contact from my addresss book just a screen of numbers

loading up the phone app the call log takes ages to load and the top contacts along the top take ages to load

rebooted the phone, cleared call log still the same

i looked in apps from settings (see attached screen shot) i have 3 phone apps a phone contact app and a phone/messaging service. All the phone apps are the same version 5.1.1-1

any ideas do i need 3 apps or is there a conflict can somebody have a look to see if they have 3 apps or anybody else experiencing the same issues

Running Android 5.1.1 build 23.4.A.1.200

Hi @nickbaker66

Please, try to boot your device into safe mode as explained here. If the issue was not present in Safe Mode, that indicates a third party app is causing the issue. In this case exit Safe Mode and then un-install any third party apps you don't need and clear the cache/data for the apps you want to keep. I´m at disposal for any question.

Try this

Settings > apps > all > phone (all of them) > clear data > restart the phone > check again.
