Timeshift video won't work

Whenever I record a time shift video the part where I select portion of the video to be slow motioned doesn't work, it shows an error "your changes could not be saved "
And afterwards when I play the video it playbacks as a regular video.
I have a one month old xperia z2, the device is not rooted.
Please help

Do you have enough space on you phone/SD card?

Yes got 7 gb internal and 50gb on my Sdcard

Where are you saving the videos? (SD card or internal storage)

does it work on safe mode?

Awesome man, I was saving it on my Sd card and it was not working, changed it to internal and worked.
But still it should work on SD too its a class 10 64gb Samsung SD card

Hi guys, im new here. I have the same problem, and i tried to switch to internal storage to save video, but again the same problem...can u give me the solution please. This problem started after the upgrade to 5.1.1, on 5.0.1 worked just fine. The phone is 3 months old. Thanks

YES, I Just switched to internal storage and it started working. U should try the same 🙂
