xperia 10 - severe compatibily problems

I bought the Xperia 10 just because my 6-generatons old Samsung have issues with recent apps. I dtill use a 10 y old Sony W995 as my primary phone, but to use apps, I have the smartphome. The Xp.10 looks promising, even though slow etc, it seemed to be a good offer. From the looks and test reviews that is. But the downtour started soon, even Sonys own Xperia transfer is not compatible with xp10. After spending the weekend reinstalling etc, I find a lot of the apps I use to have issues, or not working at all, simply crashing during startup. Now I try to find a way of reset the phone to factory settings and erase my data😠 If this is not possible, I will reset this piece with a slEdgehammer😠😠😠 HOW CAN A COMPANY LIKE SONY RELEASEXA PRODUCT WHICH HAVE SEVERE COMPATIBILY ISSUES LIKE THIS, LEAVING THE CUSTOMERS WITH USELESS JUNK?!?

If you were to list some of the apps you are struggling with, others could test them and see if they have the same issues as you. That might get you some helpful feedback.
