Microphone is very quiet Xperia 1V

Hey guys,

the microphpne of my Xperia 1V is extemely quiet. When I am making WhatsApp voice messages, I have to put the microphone max. 2-4cm away from my mouth, to get a somehow hearable voice message. Otherwise, the sound is very quiet, I can see this even in the WhatsApp sound sound frequency diagram which shows up with every voice message.

And also when I am phoning someone and put the microphone some cm away from my mouth, they can't understand me normally.

Do anyone else have this issue?

Can you try the microphone test from the support app on the phone and check if the issue is there as well or not?

thanks for this, I will try it later.

Maybe another question, if you allow. Everytime I call someone, my number is shown as "private number". How can I change the settings on the Xperia 1V, so that my number will be shown to everyone I call? I searched for this option, but didn't find anything.

Okay, found the problem. It was at my provider (Telekom), not an phone issue 😁
