Photo pro app: focus check audio sound not working

Sony Xperia 1 V2. photo pro question.

Hi all,

The focus check audio signal is no longer working. Shutter sound works ok.

Anyone got any ideas how to get it working again?

Any help really appreciated.

Did you try to restart the app and the device ?

Yep, several times. I actually did a complete system reinstall which also reinstalled the photo pro app. Still no sound.

My guess is, sony or android have screwed up with one of their system updates 🙄

When I first acquire d the phone I used to be able to use the dolby atmos app advanced settings with split screen app so I could adjust the settings whilst listing to music from YouTube. since one of the Sony/android updates that doesn't work now either. Very frustrating all this 😐

By a complete system reinstall do you mean a factory data reset or software repair by the Xperia Companion ?

Yeah, it was a complete factory data reset.

You can try the software repair by the Xperia companion as it's more general than the factory data reset and then try again.

Make sure to back up your data before doing this step as well.
