It's quite frustrating to find out I pre ordered with EE direct in the UK and I don't get the free headphone?? O2, sky and even EE through carphonewarehouse....

Surely this should of been open directly through Sony?

It's one of those things though where you should always check beforehand, any of the vendors doing promotions have advertised it quite openly.

Unfortunately EE this time had no pre order bonuses.

@doitcom I'd cancel your order and go for either the Sony e-store offer (very quickly, as they only have 130 headphones on offer) or see if any of the pre-order deals are still available

Thanks. My EE contract is £47 per month and £30 upfront. So got a really good deal. I can also upgrade after a year for free and return the phone.

Just the headphones are getting amazing reviews and worth at least £250! Just find it mad that all carriers offer something apart from EE direct... I thought it would be buy a code and get a code to redeem

My Carphone Warehouse deal is £30 upfront and £49 per month, with 60gb of data, but for 24 months - also on EE

It's that an upgrade? That £47 is with my 20% off. I get 10GB (but with my EE broadband I get 20GB extra). Unlimited video data for Netflix etc

And I can upgrade anytime... 1-6 months I pay £200 and return the phone.

6-12 months I pay £100 and return the phone.

12-22 months free upgrade but return the phone.

I like to have the latest phone really. Just odd one vendor didn't get the offer. O well.

Ordered my headphones it kept saying processing on the Sony site I refreshed and tried again later on. When I entered my IMEI it says already redeemed. I am now worried it hasn't gone through properly and I won't receive them. Ive e-mailed Sony support with no reply.

Check your email, I got an email confirming my headphone claim had been accepted.

I also had the experience with the claim website not completing. Ive emailed sony mobile and promotions team and company who runs the claim website, but no solid answer. It tells me that the IMEI has been claimed if I try again. Originally the button to complete said order was complete, but didnt move onto step 4 confirming it ?

Purchased from carphone warehouse on 28/05/2019. Filled in claim 30/05/2019 around 1pm. I assume 1000 pairs of headphones wouldnt be claimed within minutes ??

@daveydguk I'd ring the claim company tomorrow. They were very helpful when I had a minor issue with my claim. They will be able to confirm whether the IMEI number is registered and the claim has been successful or not. Let us know how you get on

I phoned Kondor and the lady said my claim had been submitted and was good to go, but have to wait 2 weeks to find out if I was successful in bagging a pair of cans.

PS. I claimed on the 30/05/2019 around 1pm the day the promotion was open.

Great to hear you are in the queue for the headphones - I put my claim in at 15:00 on the same day, so you are before me!

Actually, the helpful lady at Kondor indicated that a,t that point in the claims submitted, I shouldn't have any problem in getting the headphones, so hopefully we are both in with a good chance.

(It's just a shame Sony didn't use Kondor for their e-store campaign...)

I put my claim in around 10.30am on the 30th. I also spoke with the kind lady at Kondor just to make sure my claim was ok, and from the conversation it seems as though I've already bagged the headphones, and that the claim is successful. I enquired about the 14 day cooling off period, and thats just to verify proof of purchase. I received an email shortly after with an order confirmation, showing the headphones ordered, the retail price of £329, and the discont of -£329 and free delivery. This all looks to me as though the headphones are already a successfully cvompleted order. Hopefully....

I was actually going to get these headphones last Christmas, glad I waited now. Loving the Xepria 1, and getting the headphoines I've wanted for a while now for free. Win win...
