Hi @M5_Dual_South_Africa,

That is a very good suggestion and as you wrote, there are quite a lot of steps to deactivate the SIM card.

I guess having a switch to turn the SIM card(s) off in the quick settings could also work, as that would only require a swipe and a tap and then the same again to enable it. A scheduled setting would be better though since you would never forget to enable it (Monday mornings are the worst).

I'll make sure to forward the feedback and thanks again for the suggestion!

For some the second sim is a work number, so you want to switch it off at 17h00 and on at 07h00 weekdays automatically.

Can sony not add this feature on their dual sim phones?

Currently you need to pass 50 steps each time to do this, so no short cut icon etc.

Thank you

Also suggest when a second sim is activated it auto select the user preferences for:

Mobile data

Calls

Sms

Since currently,o has to do this on top of the sim on/off step.

@M5_Dual_South_Africa, you're very welcome!

Just keep in mind that I can't promise that this will be added, but it would probably help a lot of users since I guess that most users that have two SIM cards in their devices, one of them is only for work.

Yeah, it should default back to what you had before, for example, if you have mobile data preferred on SIM 2, it should remember this and when you enable SIM 2, it should switch over to SIM 2 and same for calls and texts.

Thanks again and have a fantastic weekend!
