Just received my second Xperia as I sent the first one back as it didn't vibrate on text messages when it wasn't on charge and it wouldn't vibrate on diagnostics unless on charge. Did the usual fix the problem with Sony Companion but no sucess. Received my new phone today and it still doesn't vibrate on messages or diagnostics unless on charge. Any ideas?

I do, but since my last Xperia could have vibrate and stamina mode on I thought it would be ok.

What a pain. Do not think that is very good. Starting to prefer my old Xperia

Also, as background data is restricted, Email and other apps that rely on syncing may not be updated.

Thank you for the reply and I understand that my phone is fine, though I do feel it's a step backwards. I want to know when a text is incoming and I'm on just vibrate, but I wish to restrict data usesage, which I can't do like I could on my old Xperia. Moving forward they should give you options on what you limit, if they wish to carry on like this.
