Alexa App not making calls from my ZX1 Compact

The Alexa app is correctly installed on my phone. Any calls made with the app do not connect to the called number/app. All permissions are correctly applied. My phone will make calls and video calls with whtasapp & Skype

but not with the Alexa App.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Alexa is a third party app made by Amazon, so you might want to contact their team for support.

Lots of complaints about the most recent update on the play store, apparently lots of devices having lots of problems.

You could try the previous version of the app by getting the apk from somewhere and seeing if that works ok, if it does... The update has borked it
