Import old Texts (SMS) from Xperia Z to ZX2

Hi,

I bought the Sony XZ2. I tried to back up texts (SMS) from my old and broken Xperia Z (C6603). As the touch screen is broken I can't install the app Xperia tranfer mobile on it and thus can't perform a "Xperia transfer" from old to new. What I could do was to create a backup via Xperia companion only with the texts.. However when I am pluggin in the XZ2, Companion doesn't show the backup for the of Z only the one of another phone (Z3+). Could it ebe that the Z is too old in order to import the backup of the tets (only) to the XZ2 and if so, how do I get the texts on my XZ2 under this circumstance? It seems all the texts are saved in the file "fullbackupdata" on my computer.

You could buy an USB OTG cable > connect a mouse > restart the Xperia Z > you should be able to use the mouse to unlock and create a backup with your Xperia Z
