I'm afraid that the Xperia XZ Premium does not support Mirrorlink as this feature was discontinued after Xperia™ X/Xperia™ X Performance.

Have you been in contact with the manufacturer of your car and checked if there is any other options available, such as Android Auto, if that feature is launched in your country.

Why does Sony support MirrorLink any more?

The largest car brand support only MirrorLink. No Carplay and no Android Auto all over europe.

It is a Japanese car brand.

Can I never buy a Sony device again?

Hi @ilike2, I'm afraid that I do not have any information as to why the support for Mirrorlink was removed.

You can pair your device with your car using Bluetooth, if your car supports doing that!

Regarding Android Auto, you are correct, there are quite a lot of European countries that are not listed as supported on the website for Android Auto, however this is not something that I do anything about as this is not a Sony Xperia service / feature, but hopefully more and more countries will be added very soon!
