I recently bought an X10 Mini Pro on 02 Pay as You Go. I tried to upgrade the software using the PC Companion, but I think I must have done something wrong, because whenever I 'Show Balance' on screen, it shows the amount remaining but now instead of showing the £ sign before the number, it now shows a '?'. I've tried repairing it using the PC Companion and also doing a factory reset but this hasn't solved the problem. Any advice?

I think this must be aproblem with the service provider. If you feel it is not so then go for a repair using SEUS. Its more stable than PC Companion in case of updates and repair.

Hi,

I have tried setting the locale to English (UK) and this hasn't solved the problem. Also, when I put the SIM in my old phone it shows the '£' sign correctly, but not when I put it back in the X10 Mini Pro.

You're not the only one with this problem; I have it too. I'm on O2 pay as you go and I have a '?' symbol instead of the '£' when my balance shows on screen. I think the phone was fine before I updated to the latest software (can't quite remember and wasn't paying too much attention), but I definitely noticed the '?' appearing after updating. I tried a data reset and re-confirming my location as UK, but the problem persists. It's no big deal; just odd and silly.
