I inserted the M2 card into the card reader, copied a few files and then took off the reader and put it back on the cell phone.

Now, it wouldnt get the card.

Again put it on the card reader, clicking on it, says that: do you want to format?

What kind of weird operation is that?

What to do to recover my files in it?

Formatting the card means wiping it clean and is equivalent to a master reset on a phone. This process is sometimes necessary to get rid of any bugs that may have been introduced and often makes the memory card usable again. So give it a go and see if that solves the problem.

No Way, Formatting the card will surely erase everything.

no, Watching it using Explorer didnt help. It still says that the card is not formatted , do you want to format?

Anyone with any concrete solution?

Formatting the card is a concrete solution--and yes it will wipe everything off but you can back everything up on your PC---just drag and drop whatever files you have from memory card to PC. If formatting doesn't fix the card, then you need to get another one. However, if you think that the card is OK and the phone is the problem, then run the SE update service on your phone and then see whether your phone can detect the memory card.
