I purchased my Experia in Saudi Arabia, and i came without the Android Market application, can i down load it to my phone via wireless connection in Saudi, or must i wait until i am back in South Africa to do this.

Hello

Same case with me, I purchased the Xperia X10 and there is no Market icon in mobile from where I can download applications. I reinstall the OS via SE update service but still no icon. Please advise

Can you guide me how to I install the Slide me as I have the file .apk download on my PC. Where to put/install the file in Xperia X10

Do it direct from their web site to you phone

Type this address into your phone

http://SlideME.org/sam2.apk

Make sure your tap on downloaded file to install

If you only have google to search just enter slideme.org/sam2.apk and search for that it will open the web site, below is just a link to the web site so you know what it looks like

Tap the link on the page i mentioned above, its in the last paragraph under the heading for android phone users, this will download the apk, once downloaded tap it and install it.

Once done, use pccompanion and copy any other apk file from your PC to a folder on your phones SD card then disconnect from the PC.

Open the Slide Me app, press menu key, tap SD Card, it will search for APK files on your card, once you find it tap the app to install it.

You can use SlideMe.to search their own database for apps or download them to your PC and move them to your SD card then use SlideMe to install them
