HAZEL - SIP setting

Hello friends,

my purpose is to go for voip call through wifi but in J20i,I only found sip settings under the connectivity menu without any voip client?,

can anyone help me in this regards

There is no built in application to use voip but you could take a look at this 3rd party application http://www.fring.com/

I tried fring but I was not able to find Hazel j20i in their list of phones. let me know if you aware about any other 3rd party software that supports voip call on j20i

Unfortunately Fring doesn't support VOIP for Java phones and to date, there doesn't seem to be any SIP client that does.You will find similar threads in this forum about this issue.

Hello..!

I just bought a Hazel last evening for my mum. I have to mention, the reason was because it had wifi and I wanted to run Skype in it.

Though I'm a fan SE, and no SE phones having skype enabled in them other than the smartphones, I asked salesman if Skype would work, to

which he said yes!

After my research before buying the phone I had decided to buy A nokia(things aren't so complicated on it) for mum becuase she hated Blackberry and SE smart phones were not only touch but not her type.

I tried Fring but got minifring(text only version) the same goes for Nimbuzz.

Today I finaly found an app which would work but I have to pay for it..

Also,if you buy phones from 3, they usually come with Skype built in, so you can make free VOIP calls.

Try "Hanashi". It is not exactly Voip but works more like a walkie talkie. And it is the only thing closest to realtime voice chat on Java Phones.

You can get this in Sonyericsson Play now software list.
