Sliding app menu with suggested apps

Hello everyone, I was wondering if any of you knows if the suggested apps sliding menu that goes down the same way as the notification panel can be deactivated and how, it is really annoying that whenever I want to check my notifications or turn on WiFi that menu slides down instead. Thanks in advance.

Hi @albert-y,

Sorry to hear that you find this feature annoying.

It is part of Xperia Home so I'm afraid that it can't be disabled. You could choose to download another launcher from Google Play if you would prefer one without this feature. I will also forward this as user feedback.

How to remove the suggested screen in the home screen

How to remove the suggested screen in the home screen, the screen on the left with "Suggested" on the top left corner. I saw some suggestion in the forum saying that it can be disable from the google, search & now, but I can't find that option in there. Is anyone know how to remove that? Thanks.

PS: Also how to uninstall some preinstall apps, like facebook, amazon, etc?
