Bluetooth Media Volume won't exceed 80%

I recently installed an update for the Xperia Experience for my Sony Xperia Xa ultra 16gb and ever since, my Bluetooth volume has been acting weird. Whenever I try to take it above 80% (rough estimate), the volume peg will not move. I also tried to go into sound settings and when I try to increase the volume there, it gives me what sounds like a double bell type noise and then goes back to the same 80% spot. I want to be able to listen to my stuff without this stupid glitch stopping me from increasing the volume. Anyone know how to stop this from happening?

I just tried to use my sony ear buds and the volume went all the way up and played fine, I think it only does it to non Sony headphones
