4K - Amazon Instant Video

Hello all

We all know that Netflix has some 4K content, however what you may not know is that as of 18th December 2014 Amazon Instant Video is also getting into the 4K market as well.

To access Amazon's 4K Streaming content, you will need

An Amazon Prime Account
At least 15Mbps internet connection
A 2014 4K TV

I have tested the Amazon 4K service (using a 38MB Fibre connection) and it works flawlessly. When you login to the Amazon Instant Video, you will see a Thumbnail called "Ultra HD". This is where the content is located.

I thought I would list the content for you guys. Some of it is included in the Prime Package, however the majority is on an rent/buy scheme. As of 1 January 2015:

Unfortunately, like Netflix, there is simply not enough content. The rent/buy options are...well...simply far too expensive and cant help wonder why this is the case, considering you are not getting the physical media.

Hello,

I have the FMP-X5 and a 2013 4K Sony TV but i just have Netflix on the box.

Do you know if and when it will be available in France?
