Screeching sound

When I turn noise cancelling on my WH-1000XM4 headphones there is a very high pitched screeching noise,

I bought them new a short time after they came on the market can't quite remember when. First problem I have experienced. Anyone advise please. Thanks.

Hi @Jamest and welcome to the Community

Does the screeching noise stay on or does it stop after a few seconds?

Either way you could try resetting them back to their factory settings to see if this helps at all.

Does this happen with all content and all devices? Or, a specific device/content?

And yea, I would recommend following the above steps to initialize it then test it once more.
