A friend has just given me his Xperia phone, as he unknowingly encrypted the system with an unknown password. As I understand it, if I can reset it, the encryption will gohttps://nox.tips/ away (with all the data) and can continue using the phone.

I have tried to repair it using the Sony Xperia repair tool and Emma (Sony's flash tool), both failed. I tried to unlock the bootloader, but it failed.

Do you guys know any other way I could repair the https://xender.vip/ phone?

Charge the battery of your device > 80% and switch it off.

Open Xperia Companion and choose software repair.

Tick the choice at the bottom saying something like 'device isn't recognised or is a smartwatch'

Follow the instructions.

Come back if it fails.
