Xperia E2303 wont start

I have been preparing my phone for sale and when I tried to remove the sdcard it did not appear to come out after pressing it in. So, without checking what I was doing, I pushed a pin into the koled next to the sdcard which did noy help with the removal of the sdcard.

I thnen looked more cloesely and sae that the ho;e is marked OFF.

Since then the phone has refused to start when I try to switch it on.

Any help?

Next time I am going to be more careful!!! (it's strange but I always say that)

try to push power button +volume down at the same time.

Hi,

My Sony Xperia M4 Acqua got blocked before opening a message.

Then it just shut off and doesn´t get on anymore. Help!

Connect the phone to a wall charger > press and hold power and volume up for 10 seconds > let it charge for 2-3 hours

Hi, I´ve done that, but it doesn´t turn on. I´ll leave it charging as you said, and lets pray....

I need my cel phone to work... help

I have had the problem 3 times in a year and a half: the M4 shuts off and won't start by any method listed on the Xperia M4 (French) help site. So I used Google and found the Power + volume up buttons together for 10sec, and that worked every time. Otherwise it's a very good phone. The screen gets smudges easily, but I rinse it every morning and that keeps it clean and clear. The Marshmallow update works very well.

I thought it was : power + volume up buttons together 10 sec ?
