topic How to fix corrupted files from SD card in M Series

Hi,

I have an M4 aqua and ive been using it now for nearly a year, and had my SD card a similar time. At the beginning it worked fine no problems in the last couple months or so its been causing problems. If i transfer anything onto my SD card i lose it or it crashes such as Apps or music (all my music is on my SD card copied from my laptop over and will not play anymore but did up until around january). I took a couple photos this weekend at a wedding gone to look today and noticed that they are not visible and when trying to load them onto my laptop it wont as it says its corrupted or file size is 2 big for a single photo. My camera is automatically set to save to my SD card. Does anyone have any advise on how to fix this? as i really need to get these photos (Especially as some are of the bride and groom).

Thanks

Tash

Are you sure the sd card is a genuine capacity and not one of these faked storage size ones?

When i bought the SD i checked it with a friend who works with this kinda stuff and she got the same size and hers works perfectly fine 😕 So its a bit strange and shes also on a sony xperia phone as well, ive invested in another SD card anyways to see if that is the problem but want to get the photos off it if possible 😕

So did u get this problem sorted cos it seem like the wonderful ppl at Sony have just left you hanging?
I am having the same problem. I've formatted a bunch of sd cards and factory reset my phone numerous times n still I'm losing music or rather the music player won't play them, they are still on the card when I hunt for them in file commander!
So if you have solved this then I would really appreciate hearing what you did, thanks
