If you experience any unexpected behaviour, sometimes a &lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/FAQ/How-to-perform-a-software-repair-with-Xperia-Companion/m-p/1103057" target="_self"&gt;software repair using Xperia Companion&lt;/A&gt; is better, as it will also reinstall the latest available software in the device, something that a factory reset does not do.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you do not have a computer available, a normal factory reset is the only option and you can use the inbuilt backup and restore function to backup your data.
