Phone not ringing on some incoming calls

Help please some one.... I have purchased xperia l1, did work fine but then it started to not ring on incoming calls I would reset phone it would sort it then a few calls later it stop ringing again all that would happen is I would get a notification sound when I missed the call so I changed the phone I had to get the same model and guess what its doing the same.. Please help any one please

Hi @Moobag, I am sorry to hear about that.

That sounds very strange if it happens on two different devices.

Could you take a look in to which signal you are using for calls? You find this by going to: Settings > Sound > Phone ringtone. What choices do you get here? And which one have you chosen?

Does any other signal work? For example if you get a text from someone, do you get a notification sound then?

If nothing seems wrong here i would recommend you to try rebooting your phone in safe mode and see how the ringtone behaves here. When you restart your device in safe mode all third party apps will be deactivated.

Hi daniel thanks for the reply sadly your suggestion done nothing.

If Iay I will explain fully the fault. All of a sudden out the blue my phone won't ringing incoming calls I get the sound it makes when they caller has hung up i get the sound of the missed call notification bit the ringimg all otherbsounds work fine alarms notification media all of it does its just the ringing when the problem arises I push the power button select restart and it I fixes the issue temporarily until i get a call it may be the first I get after the restart or could be my fifth never more than five calls later the fault comes back between this l1 and my previous I have tried everything and I also noticed or forums it's a comcom fault on the l1 i see people complain a few years ago about this issue. When I returned previous l1 to get this one as a replacement I chose to get another l1 because i really like Sony really like this phone and genuinely believed it was a faulty phone and not a system or software fault if I thought that I would have selected better when choosing a replacement. Having a phone not working is a expensive night mare costing me lots of money

Please I need help

I have the same problem. My Sony Xperia L1 forget ringtone, music even youtube sound repeatedly within few days. If I restart the phone everything is work for few days and forget sound again. So I have been using my phone restarting again and again. annoying

I have the same problem which for a three month old phone is exceptionally poor given this is a common problem with many other users
