Ear speaker not working

Hi, Is there a fix for this problem. My earspeaker has suddenly stopped working! Even in safe mode.
I can't, of course, hear a caller!

OK, I found a solution on the web:
1. Plug in headphones.
2. Play music using the walkman app.
2. Stop the music.
4. Unplug the headphones.
Bingo, now it works. It's a shame that this model has these bugs. I wish Sony would fix them.

Sometimes,it should work just after a restart.Good to know you have fixed it for now.

Uh, so the same problem. Tried the service tests,didnt help. Tried the plugging in and unplugging of earphones with walkman ,didnt help. HELP i need Help with this. Its really starting to **bleep** me off.

I found the solution for this issue.

Just go to settings > Apps > All > Smart Connect. Clear Cache and Clear Data.

Now go to Smart Connect app and trigger an event as soon as you connect your earphone / headset. For example, switch on "Music at home".

i have same problem ,my phone xperia L earspeaker not working while calling but its is working on *#*#7378423#*#* ear speaker check is working.

This should fix it :

1. Plug in headphones.
2. Play music using the walkman app.
2. Stop the music.
4. Unplug the headphones.

Hey Guys,

I tried out all the possible options you guys attempted but nothing has worked out for me...Please help me oresle m gonna through sony xperia mobile in dump...its too iritating when you want to talk urgently n this mobils oll of sudden...

I had the very same problem, i.e. ear speaker not working at all.

I found out that when I squeeze it it sometimes works. Finally I solved the problem using compressed air duster. I just pointed it towards the speaker to blew out any dust and dirt and now I the problem is gone.

I hope it helps also in your case.

Hello I had the same problems yesterday up to this morning I tried the testing and the unpluging by nowlnw worked.
Solution that worked for me:
1. Go to start connection
2. Click on event
3. Delete all events present
Speakers will restore to normal function... Hope it works for you guys

Download from phone
Then install update
Sloved problem
If not working trun of xda from app in setteing

Earphone is not working still. I am attending calls by switching to loud speaker.
