Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I know 'Different cameras use different standards and apps',

but I've been unable to find anything online, including on sonymobile.com/support

which is the only reference on the user guide which comes with the phone.

I'm hoping someone on the forum has an Experia E4 and has already managed to

connect their home security cameras to their E4 and can say 'yes it can be done'

and 'this is the app which will make it work'.

It's early days still for this post, there must be someone out there that knows the answer.

Hello,

Does anyone know if I will be able to connect home security cameras (DVR's) to my Sony Xperia E4 phone so I can view them remotely while at work?

If this is possible what App should I be using? I've not bought the camera's yet.

Plus, is there anything else I need to know.

Thanks.

Different cameras use different standards and apps.

You'll find that the cameras you buy will recommend a certain app to use to view and control with.
