Try this:

To repair the phone software
1.     Install PC Companion on a Windows PC from Support
2.     Turn on the phone, and connect it to the PC using a USB cable.
3.     In PC Companion, under Support Zone and click Start.
4.     Under Phone Software Update, click Start.
5.     Click repair phone.
6.     Follow the on-screen instructions.

i also having the same problem and now im following these steps its saying preparing the computer for software update and loading......hope it works... I REMEMBER THE PASSWORD BUT I'VE PUT A SMILEE AS MY PASSWORD AND THERE WAS NO SMILEE OPTION INTHE UNLOCK SCREEN SO IM STUCK.....

I have the same issue, using PC Companion I get a message saying I need to enter my PIN which is the whole point, I don't know it.

Help cannot reboot my phone smileyshocked: I have tried the compaion but it keeps asking for pin and wont let you do anything else till you put pin in, anybody having same problem.::smileyd_oh: I need to get phone up and running again

Hey there I also have a Sony E5 and I've forgotten my details and of the Google and I tried factory resetting but I'm stuck, have you found a solution that worked or that I can try.

you have to access the settings > security > pin > enter the pin > then you can select none

Did you manage to unlock your xperia c1505 . Iam stuck with same problem
