Hi, I am trying to find this firmware update for my sony kd 65xd8599 and note it’s no longer available on the download site. Is it possible to have this sent to me via email please?

As you know Sony have terminated software support for your model of TV as of 26 06 2024.

Check the link here,

If you read the page you will see this.

If the version shown on your TV is lower than latest version shown in the table, please refer to the Contact support section of this article.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on this,

Contact support
Contact your Sony Support team

Try them see if they are clued up.

If not you may have to wait and see if any owners of the same model have held a copy of the update
that they are willing to share with you probably via a download site, e-mail is a bit ambitious for an update
that may be in the 100's of megabytes or even gigabytes.

Ive posted similar for this version without any result as yet.I have a contact who may be able to help with the file and I'll update if I have any success.Not sure at this juncture whether it will be also suitable for your model but I'll try and clarify if I can.Virtualy impossible to contact Sony for any further advice.

Are the zip files and links compatible for all Sony Bravia 2015/2016 Android TVs? I've got a KD-43x8305c that's been on firmware 5.435 (2019) forever. If 5.457 (2020) has improvements I'd like to install it. If the previous packages work for my unit I'll use them but if I need a specific pkg for my model I can wait until someone posts it.

Hi,yes you can use this file in your model.I found it hasn't cured the
locking up problems I have though.Every couple of weeks I have to do a
factory reset as everything starts running slow then it's ok for a week or
so.It sounds typical of a software issue but no one else seems to be
having an issue

Hi can anyone help out with the latest firmware for the kdl-65w850c please? I believe its version 6.827
