My TV receives signals from Aerial and satellite dish(Freesat)

What I need to know is how I can access the Satellite to see what else is on ot apart from freesat. I do not to lose freesat in any process

What makes you think you have Freesat?

Do you have a full EPG, running days ahead, or just Now & Next?

Because I don’t think your TV has Freesat, and it is the standard Satellite provision from a Sony Android TV that you are already looking at.

I have Freesat because I have a Freesat box which is plugged into HDMI4 and works

Well duh - you didn’t explain that 😢

But in that case, why do you think that tuning in Satellite on the TV would affect the Freesat box any more than it would a separate BluRay Player on an HDMI port?

Always assuming that you aren’t proposing to realign the satellite dish, of course.....

Or is this an issue about getting separate satellite feeds to the Freesat box and to the TV?

Does the (unnamed) Freesat box offer satellite passthrough?

Do you have more than one satellite feed coming off the dish?

Will one or more of these help?

According to:-

Press the HOME button, then select [Settings] — [Channel setup] — [Digital setup] — [Satellite setup] — [Digital satellite tuning].

But maybe you have to disable YouView, and move to the Freeview side of the set first?

And of course have satellite connections directly into the TV.

But if this isn’t it, can you please describe exactly what you have tried to get to satellite tuning on the TV, and where you get stuck?
