KD-43XD8305 turns irself on

Hi,

My Sony KD-43XD8305 has developed the habit of turning itself on in the middle of the night!

You can imagine it is quite disturbing to wake up at 3am to the sound of voices downstairs in the living room!!

Can anybody suggest any possible reasons for why this would happen?

There hasn't been a power-cut, other units would be powered up, (oven clock flashing to be reset) etc. if so

Could it be some kind of over-air download ?

Could it be somebody trying to pair a bluetooth device ?

I thought I had turned off all options for such things but I may have missed one.

I don't think I'm running any Apps on the TV

Any suggestions appreciated

Hi Philip,

Two possible solutions below. Let me know how you get on.

Check if [On timer] is activated.
Disable the [Auto TV on] setting in [BRAVIA Sync settings].

Hi Sean_Mc,

thanks for the information.

I do have the [On Timer] setting disabled but I didn't know about the [Bravia Sync Settings] so I have turned them off now. Let's hope this solves it 🙂
