    <description>&lt;P&gt;KD-75XH8096BAEP After firmware update Firmware update to v6.4770 from Sony's site&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ARC functions don't work for me ....... Can't be heard when I play YouTube ... Netflix ..... and the like&lt;BR /&gt;However ... when I turn on the TV the receiver also turns on ...... When I turn up the volume from the TV's volume control system the receiver ...&lt;BR /&gt;But to hear YouTube \ Netflix I only hear with If connect an optical audio cable.&lt;BR /&gt;Of course, before the update, everything worked with the HDMI as the optical was not connected at all.&lt;BR /&gt;I've tried all the solutions found on the site, including both Factory and Power reset.&lt;BR /&gt;Disconnect Power .. and waiting over 2 minutes from the TV also from the system.&lt;BR /&gt;My audio system is also a Sony STR-DH790B&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;That sounds frustrating. I had a quick search, all I could find was a subreddit discussing a similar issue. As a workaround, someone found that turning on the amp/receiver a few seconds before the TV helped.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Clutching at straws probably, but worth a try.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
